Christmas Open House New Franklyn
Join us for a beloved New Franklin tradition, our Christmas Open House at the Tudor House. Admission and activities are free! Park at the Portage Lakes State Park (a golf cart shuttle will be provided). * Enjoy Christmas cookies and punch along with musical performances by our local school groups and choirs: 2:00 Coventry Elementary School 2:45 Coventry High School Ensemble 3:30 Coventry Middle School Mixed Choir 4:00 St. Fancis de Sales School Youth Choir 4:15 Manchester High School Voices * Be sure to check out our LIVE NATIVITY complete with live animals and local talent bringing the Bethlehem stable scene to life. * Enjoy activities and crafts for kids hosted by the Portage Lakes Branch Library, and of course, a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus! * The Baked and Loaded Food Truck will be available throughout the event to purchase food and beverages. * The event will be held outdoors in our heated tent. * Bring a new or gently used coat for our Haven of Rest Coat Drive * Thank you to our event sponsor GPD Group. * Contact the City of New Franklin with questions or for more information. Join us as we kick off the holiday season with a visit from Santa, family-friendly activities, complimentary refreshments, and the lighting of the Coventry Clock Tower! The Portage Lakes Kiwanis will also be collecting donations for families in need. We’re excited for this annual event and hope to see you there!

IMPORTANT SANTA DELIVERY DATES AND TIMES *DROP OFF LOCATIONS, COVENTRY FIRE DEPARTMENT AND NEW FRANKLIN FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL OPEN FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13TH, 8:00 AM TO 8:00 PM DAILY AND WILL CLOSE AT 3:00 PM ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22ND. *THE KIWANIS CIVIC CENTER WILL OPEN ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14TH FROM 12 NOON TO 6:00 PM DAILY AND WILL CLOSE AT 3:00 PM ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22ND FOR GIFT DROP OFF. *LEAD CARS WILL COME TO THE CIVIC CENTER ON DECEMBER 23RD FROM 5:00 TO 7:00 PM TO HAVE LIGHTS AND SPEAKERS INSTALLED BY GENE COLE. *SLEIGHS WILL LEAVE THE CIVIC CENTER AT 5:00 PM ON CHRISTMAS EVE, TUESDAY DECEMBER 24TH. A MEAL WILL BE SERVED AT THE CIVIC CENTER BEGINNING AT 3:00 PM CHRISTMAS EVE. *SANTA WILL ARRIVE AT CHASE BANK, 5638 MANCHESTER ROAD IN NEW FRANKLIN AT 5:45 PM FOR FAMILIES OUTSIDE THE DELIVERY AREA.
